First, Tweets are limited to 140 characters, so that’s the longest you should be allowed.

Since you’re writing in Greek, you may running up against a normalization problem. Do you know if your server has PHP installed with the Normalizer class?

    No, I’m afraid I don’t.
Is there any way to find out through phpAdmin?

PhpMyAdmin is only a tool for looking into your database; this is your PHP installation.

Easiest way is probably do ask your hosting service; they should have a help desk where you can ask questions, and a basic question like server set up should be easy to ask.

Ask if your version of PHP is installed with the PEAR Normalizer class, and, if it’s not, if it’s possible to have it installed.

    Thanks for your reply.

I contacted my hosting company to find out about PEAR.
I;ll come back to you once I get their reply.

    So, I got their reply.
    PEAR is not installed.
    Any ideas?

There’s no simple answer if the Normalizer class isn’t available. It’s a pretty basic class, and if they can’t install any PEAR classes for you, that’s pretty limiting on many levels, not just this one.

I don’t know what your hosting is; you may not have any choice about it, but I’d consider this to be a major limitation in your hosting environment.
