When I want to set up tweetme and I write my Twitter e-mail address and password, tweetme screams “Error, You must provide your correct Twitter login and password!” when I want to save it. The e-mail address and password are correct as I can normally log in to Twitter from their homepage. Any idea what’s wrong? thank you

FTR, I am having the same problem…

    Any ideas anyone?

Initial problem appears to have been fixed by yesterday’s update…

    However, it’s not tweeting!

I have this in my error log…

[Wed Apr 15 11:35:30 2009] [error] Posting: New Blog Post: My New Guitar and Music Website! http://bit.ly/2kLZ0i
    [Wed Apr 15 11:35:31 2009] [error] Error: 400

The bit/ly url works fine, so I can only assume that the 400 relates to trying to access twitter?

According to the twitter api, it will return a 400 if the rate limit has been exceeded. Is there a problem with the code, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

yes, the initial problem really has been fixed with the update. I have to check the tweeting problem

Yes, 400’s get thrown when exceeding 100 requests in a 60 minute period. I guess that’s due to the first problem, sorry. It’s hopefully been reset now. Can anyone confirm?

It’s still not working for me….

Surely the number of requests is per account, and it’s only me that has been trying to update my account? I’ve certainly not tried 100 times at all, let a lone in any 60 minute period…

    Or am I missing something?

    (BTW: It’s still a 400)

    Bump…

Any luck? Is this working for other people and I’m doing something wrong?

I have wordpress 2.7.1. Could it be another plugin that is breaking this? Or is i a problem with the tweetme plugin?

All looks good now after latest release. Excellent!
