I run a membership site and use the Uncanny Automator plugin to handle all kinds of tasks.

I can successfully trigger an Automator task from of a change in the value of the meta field “user_activation_status” if I verify or unverify a User by hand via the Users page.

However, if the value of “user_activation_status” is changed via the User Verification plugin itself, the Automator task trigger will not fire.

I have asked Automator tech support to look at why this is. Could you also help me understand and hopefully fix the issue?

    Thanks again!

I have determined the issue with Uncanny Automator. They don’t currently support this type of action.
