 * Ok my site is a blog of me and I also want to put tutorials up that I make.
 * I want tutorials to be categorized like this.
 * [http://www.site.com/tutorials/](http://www.site.com/tutorials/) <– Viewing all
   tutorials
    [http://www.site.com/tutorials/css/](http://www.site.com/tutorials/css/)
   <– Viewing tutorials in css category [http://www.site.com/tutorials/css/basics-to-css/](http://www.site.com/tutorials/css/basics-to-css/)
   <- Viewing a tutorial
 * I cant figure a way to do this except by a plugin and I dont know where to look
   and stuff. I would just make it a blog post but that comes out like this
 * [http://www.site.com/archive/2005/08/18/tutorial-here/](http://www.site.com/archive/2005/08/18/tutorial-here/)
 * Any ideas would be appreciated. Would I just have to do this manually by making
   pages?

 * I think this will work: try downloading the Ultimate Tag Warrior plugin from
   the repository, then once it is installed, change the tag base from /tag/whateverthetagis
   to simply /whateverthetagis … make sense? So, I think from there you can work
   out some kind of system that will work out close to what you are wanting … I
   don’t know if you can give the tags heirarchies – you might can; if not, you
   could always make one tag called tutorials, then another called tutorials-css,
   then give a post both of those tags …. it’s worth a shot. Again, I’m not sure
   though – are you wanting it to look that way for the sake of the URL in terms
   of the user, or just for heirarchy/organizational purposes?

 * I just want everything categorized mainly.
 * Like my portfolio is the same way, like /portfolio/art/ or /portfolio/web/ and
   stuff like that.
 * Just seeing if there was a way to do the same with tutorials instead of going
   through the hassle of doing pages manually.

    do you need something like this: (?) [http://www.skippy.net/](http://www.skippy.net/)
   in Series 1.8.0
 * I’m not sure if I get your point.

 * _Would I just have to do this manually by making pages?_
 * Why manually? Isn’t there a Page feature in WP? Actually Pages can have subpages
   and sub-subpages…

 * If you’re looking to try and user %category% in your permalink structure (with
   Apache 1.3), take a look at a couple of Ryan’s rewrite rules plugins:
