 * Im learning php now and after that I want to learn backend development with wordpress.

   Is there somewhere a good free course to learn how to make a plugin with wordpress.
   I like it when a “real” plugin is made step by step.

 * There’s [this quick overview](https://learn.wordpress.org/tutorial/introduction-to-securely-developing-plugins/).
   And more [vids at wordpress.tv](https://wordpress.tv/?s=plugin)
 * There’s [the Plugin Handbook](https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/), not
   a tutorial, but a useful reference.
 * And of course just do a general search for “wordpress plugin development tutorial”.
   Enjoy!

 * Sorry, I really don’t know. It looks pretty comprehensive. It’s a little old,
   but I’m confident the concepts presented are still valid. I wonder how well each
   segment stands on its own. For example, can you skip over segments you’re not
   interested in without getting totally lost? Or can you watch the segments out
   of order?
 * Assuming the information is accurate, which is likely the case, whether it’s “
   good” or not depends on how you as an individual best learn new information.
   Personally, I don’t learn well from video formats, but lots of people do. If
   you’re one of those, then it’s probably good. Anyway, if it’s not working for
   you after a couple segments, you can always abandon it and try something else.
   You’d have still learned something, so little is lost by giving it a try.

 * I will give it a try.

   find one where also a plugin is build
 * Thanks
