[tutor_course] Popular Courses Filter?

    Hello!

    We needed to filer the Popular Courses to be displayed on the Homepage. But there’s no ‘Popular Courses’ shortcode filter mentioned in the Documentation.

    Do we miss something, or is it missing indeed?

    This would be really helpful for Homepage display.

    Is it going to be added by any chance?

    Step One : Create a course category “Popular Courses”

    Step two : Use this shortcode [tutor_course category=”Popular Courses” count=”3″]

    It may solve your problem.

    Not exactly. I’d expect them to be based on the rating. Not a category I have to manage by myself.

    I already checked and didn’t find the ‘Popular Courses’ shortcode before writing here.

    Am I missing something? Or are you missing the question and answer like a chatbot, @creativeartbd ?

    Greetings and a good day to you!

    To do this you have to manually create a category named popular and assign all of the popular courses under that category to show the popular courses.
    This cannot be done by the system itself rather has to be done manually. The system does not provide a feature where the popular courses can be shown by a shortcode or something. Rather one has to create the categories. Assign courses in that category and show it using the shortcode. This is the one way possible for solving your issue.
