Turning off search box in header

In the ‘Header’ section of the settings- there is an option to “Display Text” for the header; I think there should be an option right below it to ask you if you’d like the search box shown. I know how to go into the header.php file and delete it, but it would definitely be useful for many people to have a simple radio button. I searched this on google and many people are wishing the same thing. Thank You
