Support » Plugins and Hacks » Turn off WP Super Cache for one blog in WordPress MU

  • Hoping someone can help.

I have been using WP Super Cache on my MU install for some time and all blogs have benefited. I have recently had need to create a new blog which uses the P2 theme which doesn’t work correctly with WP Super Cache turned on (the cool AJAX stuff stops working). As I have WP Super Cache installed as a MU plugin if I turn it off it turns off fro all blogs.

What is the correct way to turn off caching for my new blog only?

Each of my blogs is on a different domain – blog1.com, blog2.com etc. Can this be used to exempt my new blog from caching in some way?

    Regards,

  • You could write a plugin that turns off the cache when $wpdb->blogid matched the blog_id you want. Check out wp-content/wp-cache-config.php for the right variable to turn off.

I’m not averse to a bit of code tweaking but is there any other way?

Umm, if your site is a folder based install, then enter the blogname in the excluded urls textbox. That may work.
