I have a client using your plugin and they would like to upload PDF’s but without auto-generating the little jpg preview images. Is that possible? Is there maybe a hook or config option that allows turning that feature off??

    Thanks,
    Oliver

Every files have their own indication icons. Small self generated icon is for images only. PDF files have pdf icon. There is no hook to turn it off.

Thank you for your response! I was actually not writing about the icons, but about the “preview” images that are generated when uploading a PDF.

For example when uploading a valid PDF with name test.pdf, four jpegs are automatically generated in the same folder (test-pdf.jpg, test-pdf-71×100.jpg, test-pdf-212×300, and test-pdf-725×1024.jpg).

    See the screenshot here:

I assume those are related the key feature “PDF Preview: PDF Preview feature available”.

But my client does not want to have those four jpeg images generated every time a PDF is uploaded. Hence my question if there is an option or hook to turn the PDF preview images off???

    Thanks,
    Oiliver
