# Turn Comments Off – PHP File?

 * I am putting together a simple gallery website in WordPress, but I’m having a
   few problems with the comments.

 * Basically we want to turn off the comments, date, time etc in the pages as its
   not required for the client on this site. I think its an issue with code in one
   of the .php files. We are using the Classic WordPress template, which doesn’t
   have a page.php file and wondered if anyone might know were I might be going 
   wrong?

 * You turn comments on/off on the individual write/edit – post/page dispaly. It’s
   down near the bottom.
