Support » Plugin: Rank Math SEO - Best SEO Plugin for WordPress » Turkish Capital Character Problem of Plugin

  • Resolved Halil ESEN

    Hello there,
The letter “capital i”, that is, “İ”, which is one of the letter characters in Turkish, is not detected by the plugin.
It detects only when I type “I” instead of “İ”. But in Turkish, “I” and “İ” are other things.

    Yours truly.

    Hello @halilesen,

Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

It seems to be working fine on our end:

    Or did we miss something?

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Thank you for your answer. All plugins and WordPress are up to date. But as I understand it, the problem is different. The lowercase letter with the same meaning and the uppercase letter do not match. Therefore, when I type “İyi” in the title, it does not match the “iyi” in the keywords. Like it doesn’t match “Im fine” with “im fine”.

    Yours truly.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry to disappoint but that feature is unfortunately not available at this time.

With that being said, there are existing feature requests, so I’ve added your vote to our internal suggestions lists. If your suggestions are something that we’re able to introduce, I’ll be sure to let you know.

In the meantime, if there’s anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

    We are here to assist.
