Hi, is this support forum still active? Hope to receive an answer from the support team πŸ™‚

This forum is indeed active, but there isn’t enough information to answer your question. Imported posts do indeed show up as Posts, like any other post. There’s nothing special about them.

First of all many thanks for your reply (especially on this day).
What if the imported posts don’t show up as Posts? In the Dashboard it shows 53 posts (of which 52 imported from Tumblr). But in Posts there is still only the 1 originally created in WordPress itself…. What more information you need to solve this mystery?

What you’re describing doesn’t really make any sense. It can’t exactly show 53 posts in one place and only 1 in another.

Are they draft posts or something? If it shows 53, then they are there somewhere.

Yes, I know. It is very weird.
Please check the links to see two screenshots I made.

in Dashboard it shows 53 posts:
    http://www.nextportchina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Schermafbeelding-2014-12-26-om-20.09.52.png

But under ‘Posts’ there is only 1 posts visible:
    http://www.nextportchina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Schermafbeelding-2014-12-26-om-20.10.29.png

As you can see the posts are also not hidden in the drafts folder…

Try disabling whatever cache plugins you’re using, or looking in there for any way to clear the cache.

I disabled WP Fastest cache and deleted all cache…but still no change.

I cannot find any of the 52 uploaded posts either…

The Dashboard says they are there…but the they show up.

I cleared the account information in Tools > Import > Tumblr and connected my Tumblr Blog to WP again.
After that I imported the posts again, which happened in 30 secs (probably skipped all of theme, because they are already uploaded). But when I visit ‘Posts’, the 52 tumblr posts are still not visible there..

I’m having the same issue, I used the tumblr import tool (like always) and it shows that it finished!
But this time the posts are nowhere to be found !?!

    Hey guys,

I am having the same issue as well, exactly as described by monsieurchine. I do not have any caches or so running. My problem is reproducible, I tried the import a few times now.

Did one of you solve the problem?

    Cheers

Unless you can go into your database and tell me whether the posts are there or not, and what status they have, and what post_type they might be, there’s not a lot more information we can provide here.

I can’t reproduce this problem. Posts are posts. Simple as that.

Try importing on a site with no plugins and the default theme. Maybe you have some other plugin doing something weird.

    Hi Samuel,

thanks for the quick reply. The posts appear in the ‘wp_posts’ table, post type is ‘post’, post status is ‘draft’.

We are running the Divi 2 theme by Elegant Themes, maybe that’s the crux of the matter. I don’t know. I will try to make the import with an other WP I am running and see if that works, but I don’t know if that’ll help me (or you?) determining what the problem is.

    Kind regards
    Arne

    Hi Arne,

Did you find a work around to solve this problem?
    I still encounter the problem.

    Hi monsieurchine,

no, not yet at least. I still wanted to have a deeper look into the database content, but I was very busy.

I will post news if there will be any positive.

    Cheers

    Thanks a lot Arne!
Very curious why this plugin is not working for us.
