Trying to remove plugin – db errors – SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM

    Hi,

    I experienced the missing ciient_id column errors in this thread, so removed both wsal tables.

    I tried reinstalling the plugin but always get errors even with the remove settings option enabled before uninstall.

    I now just want to get rid of the plugin, as it’s giving me json errors that prevent other actions on the site working correctly.

    I’m now seeing errors similar to this thread;

    These appear on product pages. How to remove them and the plugin fully?

    Hello @andtay2001

    I am sorry to read about your issues.

    However, I am not understanding what issues originally started all this. From the errors you’ve pasted in this ticket it seems that the database tables the plugin uses do not exist. You can easily solve this by deactivating the plugin and reactivating it, and the plugin will create the tables (considering the database user has the privileges to do so).

    If you still would like to remove the plugin, all you need to do is deactivate it and uninstall it from the plugins page in the WordPress dashboard.

    Hi,

    The plugin was no longer listed within admin > plugins, but there was still a physical folder on the server.

    I deleted this but still had the issue.

    Removing the plugin folder ‘wp-security-audit-log’ seems to have fixed it. I’m not sure if that’s part of the same plugin but the error has now gone.

    I am glad to read that you solved the issue Andrew.

    This might explain what happened; the plugin has a setting so it does not show up in the plugin settings. It could be that you or someone from your team enabled it, hence why it was not listed there.

    But indeed, deleting the plugin folder “uninstalls” the plugin.
