  • I imported settings from Podpress and it generally works, but now I’m trying to import the episodes, hoping this will show the actual episode title on the player instead of ‘Bluberry Power Press’

    It says

“We found blog posts that have 4 media files. You will need to create 3 Podcast Channels to continue.”

I have no idea what that means.. Can’t I just import the first one? I see now way to create Podcast Channels and I don’t understand that restriction at all.

I also want to make sure my feed url is the same as podpress, but not sure how. I had a bunch of custom ones set up based on categories in podpress.. do those carry over?

You can get faster response for PowerPress issues at the forums,

When you see the preview list of your episodes, scroll down to rows where you see 2 or more media files in the blog post. Open another tab in your web browser, and find those blog post episodes and edit them. In PodPress, there will be multiple media files listed, remove the 1, 2 o4 3 extra media files so there is only one media file for the episode, then save your blog post.

Once you have only one media file to each blog post, you can import into PowerPress.

To learn why you can’t have multiple media files per post, read the FAQ section item titled “Why doesn’t Blubrry PowerPress support multiple enclosures in one feed item/post?”.

We added this logic so you are guaranteed that all of your podcast episodes are listened/watched. Unfortunately you may have had episodes that were not downloaded because they had multiple media files in the post.
