• I have a logo in the header of my theme, and I’m trying to put a link around it to the home page, but the link is generating the full name of whatever page I am on rather than simple home page URL. I can input the home page URL’s full path manually and make it work, but I want it to work using WordPress code. I have tried using wp_title and bloginfo(‘name’) (syntax may not be perfect there; I don’t have the code in front of me), but I always get the post title, not the home page URL. I’m doing this site for someone else so I’m reluctant to paste in that person’s URL. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

  • What theme are you using? if you are using twenty eleven theme than clicking on the site title or the site header (the big picture at top) will take back to home page in WordPress 3.3.2 (that is the version I am using.)

I built my own theme, but you’ve given me a good source. I’ll just look in the twenty eleven theme to see what the URL is in the header area. Thanks so much. Sorry for the delay in responding.
