trying to edit the config.php

    Just installed WordPress and am trying to link to my host. I am very new and when I open the wp-config-sample.php, there is nothing there to edit.

    I was trying to open in notepad as directed by my tech. I have the domain, wordpress location, etc, but do not know where to enter these or how?

    What do you mean by nothing there? Is it totally blank? If it’s totally blank, then chances are (1) either its content got deleted or (2) you have an incomplete install. In that case reinstall from a fresh download of WordPress
