• I have created a top bar div which is working perfectly fine on simple html file. All i am trying to do is to put that div generically on all the pages of my theme. I put the styling code and top bar’s div code in header.php and it worked perfectly fine on chrome but not on other browsers and the template on them is completely messed up you can check from this link http://caremerge.us/wordpress/ about what are the compatibility issues i faced

Kindly let me know what is a proper way embed my piece of code to my wordpress theme so it would also not create any compatibilty issues of browsers

I am new to wordpress so your help is needed alot

    Thanks,

one issue i noticed the compatibility issue is happening becuase of adding my own stylesheet if i dont do that then the problems will not occur but also the styling of my top bar will not appear so as a result my top bar look messed up. I even copy paste the css code from my styling sheet to stylesheet.css (WP Default) but even after doing that the top bar is not reading the styles being mentioned kindly help so that i can ad up my top bar.
