  • I like it.
How do you plan on creating the transparent tabs?
I’m curious to see how you’ll style the content.

It’s easy to make transparent tabs. Do it in Photoshop (or your preferred image editing program) to do that effect. Nice template, ihad, esp. the hazy mosiac pictograph.

thanks. i am not sure i want to go with the boxed comments style though. just playing around in PS atm. CSSing the content will be a PITA the more graphical elements I introduce, e.g. I was thinking doing slide out comment boxes when clicking on that “comment” tab at the bottom, have tabs on the right side of the box for other links (prev/next/etc..)
ahh well, i’ll have to “finish” 1 boxed draft and then do a “simplistic” one. that’s how I approach my projects anyhow. compose in PS, slice in ImageReady, css the template.
since i never have used a blog script before I am unsure about design “neccessities” yet, so naturally I am looking at all and any blogs I find. So if you have any special blog design tips, let’s hear them! 😀
    Cheers

shameless plug: need a design? I am for hire! Mail me with details 😉

My only concern about your template, which looks damn fine, is that there are a large number of people online who don’t have the bandwidth to enjoy graphic-intensive sites.
Like I said, though, it looks really great, Ihad!

ok, i think i need to redesign this…
    http://www.ihad.de/relaunch/
to look good in 1024×786… happens when you run at 1600×1200…
the links are not working, it’s just that one page but the colors are final, sort of 😀
