Hi Everyone: I'm new to the forum and WordPress. It's been about a month now. Still developing my website. The biggest problem I am having is changing the colors on the site. I have a Theme I purchased called Lifestyle. It has space for a header graphic which I will have to put in later. What I want to do is change the colors on the site. I want to change that header bar from the green color and the subnav bars. I've been reading the documents on changing colors, but I am getting confused. I went into the style.css sheet and tried to change the Top Nav bar, header, subnav, nav and other sections on the style.css but when I update the colors and refresh my page, the colors are not changing. Do I need to go into any of the .php templates to change there as well? My website is http://www.weightlosswinnow.com

    Any help would be appreciated.

The navbar is made up of a repeating image http://www.weightlosswinnow.com/wp-content/themes/lifestyle_40/images/topnav.png you'll have to create an image (with the same file name) containing the colour you want, then upload it to /images. Similarly with the header http://www.weightlosswinnow.com/wp-content/themes/lifestyle_40/images/header.png
    and again: http://www.weightlosswinnow.com/wp-content/themes/lifestyle_40/images/navbar.png

Since this is a purchased StudioPress theme, a photoshop document containing the theme images should be available to you. This will allow you to easily modify the header. You should contact the StudioPress support forum if you have not got the themes photoshop document.
