trying to add a jquery plugin…where does it go?

  • hey all

i’m trying to add a jquery plugin to add some cool rotations to my site. (http://ricostacruz.com/jquery.transit/ is the plugin im trying to use).

I already have jquery on the site, but where is the proper place to upload that new .js file, and where do i like to it in my wordpress structure? header? footer?

i tested it locally, and it worked perfectly. linked to both jquery and the new plugin at the top of the page, with the script to run it right below. but i can’t seem to get it working on my wordpress site.

    thanks

  • Just drop it in your theme root and enqueue it in your functions.php file.

ok so i put the js file in my theme root, and enqueued the script in the functions.php file, but it’s still not working.

i can view the source and see the js script properly linked at the top of the page, but for some reason i still can’t get it to work, even though it’s working perfectly on my local page.
