    Hi!

I have PHP 7.4 on my site and in my log I see:
Trying to access array offset on value of type null in /…myurl…/wp-content/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/classes/Models/Option.php on line 74

    Can this be fixed?

    Hello @harm10

Thank you for using our plugin and sorry to read you are encountering this error. I’ll need some information from you to be able to understand and troubleshoot this issue. So can you please answer my questions below?

    1) Is this error a show stopper or not? Can you still use the plugin even though there is this error?

    2) Do you know if there are certain changes / actions you are doing that trigger this error?

Looking forward to your replies and thank you for reporting this issue.

    Thanks for your reply.

The message is not an error but a PHP notice. So nothing goes wrong. In future versions of PHP this kind of code will throw an error but not now.

There were many of these messages even on a test site with only me logged in. As there are no errors it is rather difficult to say what triggers it.
Normally the fix is rather simple (I already have reported lots of this same notice to different plug-in makers) and the functionality remains the same after the fix.
