Try to push feedwordpress posts to buffer

Hi,

I see there are many questions here about posts that are not pushed to Buffer because the “publish_post” hook isn’t called.
I publish posts using the feedwordpress plugin and store them in a custom post type. All these posts are not pushed to Buffer.
The plugin is using the publish_post hook according to the source code:

Any idea what happens?

No ideas at this time, we will be updating the free version to use better hooks for Post publication / updates, which should resolve some of these issues.

Hi,
right now I’m using my RSS feed of news posts to push them using IFTTT. It’s not a perfect solution but it works.
Is there a maling list I can join to follow new development?

We haven’t forgotten anything in our latest version – that error tells you that the Buffer API can’t be reached.

Confirm your server can connect to buffer.com, and liaise with your hosting provider as necessary.

that’s not true, the post was sent to buffer, I added two slashes and everything works fine 🙂
