• Hi!

I would like to test the free app before buying the pro. However, when I try to create the Facebook application, I am not able. In fact, FB asked me URL (Privacy Policy URL, URL service conditions, User Support URL, etc..

In addition, I have also this warning:

    Currently Ineligible for Submission
Your submission is missing data in the Following fields:

    Privacy Policy URL
    Image: Web Banner
    Image: Cover Image
    Image: Logo

You do not mention any url or others in your guide. Thank you to help me.

  • Yes, it has become increasingly confusing. Thank Facebook for it. I am afraid Facebook is asking for more information now and to approve your submission you have no other choice than to provide the information. All third party software has to go through this new process.

    Yep…

Tell me: you would not have a sample page that Facebook ask? I would like to get it right the first time and not spend a part of the week on 🙂

    thank you Marcel.

    BTW : Parles-tu francais?

Your submission includes at least one item that takes more time to review. The review should be completed within 14 business days.

Wow! Never seen that before …

Yep, that is all new. I have not yet heard somebody passing the review process, so I cannot give much advice.

Hi Marcel. I can’t create a FB application. All my request was refused. so, i would like to use your pro version, but if you can’t help me i will try another way.

Can you try to create an app and show us how to do that ? Step by step like?

    Sorry about my poor english…

Thank to help us Marcel !

What was the reason for the refusal?

Please note that the pro version will not fix problems like this.

Just to be clear: I am as unsure as you about what information to provide. Facebook didn’t provide clear instructions.

Yes, Facebook is blur about that.

    Facebook refuse this:

    user_groups
    Général

    REFUSED

    — when i click on «here», page is not found…

    read_stream

    REFUSED

i dont know what to do to correct that situation.

“This permission is reserved for apps that replicate the Facebook client on platforms that don’t have a native client.”

    WordPress has no native client.

If there is a procedure for appeal, then try to appeal with this reason.

unable to creat an app wiht facebook …. do you have any suggestion? Or how to solution ?

I cannot do more than pointing you to the setup guide or suggest to ask Facebook for help.

You are not very specific about what the problem is.

In the link you’ve told me, the creation of the Facebook application is not identical to the needs of yours.

    Then, this does not work.

I think it would be wise of you to create a ‘how to’ step by step that would work with your plugin. Otherwise, I do not think others will be able to create this famous Facebook application

There is a setup guide here:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-link-to-facebook/other_notes/

For the rest it is common sense.
