# Truncating Posts

 * Hi,
 * I’m looking for a way to have my posts truncate automatically after a certain
   number of words. I know I can add the “more” tag, but I need a way to do it automatically.
 * I’ve tried using the “WP Limit Posts Automatically” Plugin and the “Limit Post
   Add-On” but they seem to just mess up the layout on my page. I think it could
   be because they haven’t been updated in a while. Are there any recent plugins
   that do this and work?
