true/false vs. 1/0 (2 posts)

Why is there such a variance in the code from using true/false to 0/1 for what seem like boolean variables? A lot of the tests on these variables are the same way, either testing if(!$variable) or if (intval($variable) == 1). Are there plans for the variables that have 0/1 to eventually have more options?

sounds to me like developer preference... since there's more than one person working on the code, there's probably some devs that like using 1/0 and some that like using true/false :)
