    Hello
In order to run Basel Theme, I have to install Revolution Slider plugin. BUT, this plugin has previously been uninstalled (mistake). Now, each time I try to re-install it, I get the following message :

The destination folder already exists. /var/www/vhosts/hs-artworks.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/revslider/
    The extension installation failed.

Checking in the web, I have found that I should delete this destination file before install Revolution Slider again. BUT, The beginner I am, although I have checked everywhere in my control panel, did not find where is the access to this kind of file ?
Could you please tell me what is the path to reach it and destroy it simply ?
    Thanks in advance

Via FTP or the file manager app of your hosting control panel, delete the directory wp-content/plugins/revlider. Once done, you’ll be able to install that plugin.

Thank you Steven, but this is the problem :
“Via FTP or the file manager app of your hosting control panel”
I don’t understand what we are talking about and where to find this…

Please contact your host’s tech support to find out how to use their control panel.

    OK.
But I have read on the web that it is possible to do that directly from the control panel. Isn’t it an access somewhere ?

“On the web somewhere” is not an authoritative source. Contact your host. Control panels differ by host.

You might also just try uploading the .zip file for that plugin under “add new plugins” then “upload a file” from within WordPress. It should warn you that the directory is there an allow you to say that you want to update it.

OK. I will try. Thanks for your help.

With the help of the hoster, The file has been destroyed and I could re-install it properly. And, by the way, learned how to reach all my files.
    Thank you.
