# Troubleshooting Error Log – Connection Errors

 * Hello, I’ve got a number of WP sites all different versions having connection
   errors for 1-4 minutes at the same time every day or every other day. Looking
   for advice on how to troubleshoot it. The error is:
 * `Script timed out before returning headers: php56.cgi`

 * Hmmm. This is under a shared hosting account at Dreamhost. Wondering if it has
   to do with general server load or something. I don’t believe I can really access
   the php.ini settings or anything like that.

 * `Script timed out before returning headers: php56.cgi` does literally mean the
   commands are taking too long to run (there are limits in order to prevent you
   from crashing boxes). Have you tried upgrading PHP to v7? We have it available
   on all boxes now. Go to your DreamHost Panel > Domains > Edit your domain. Sctoll
   down 🙂
