Troubleshooting a plugin

    Downloaded and installed plugin “wp-table”

    went to activate it and… “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

    Okay… is this a known problem with wp-table and wp 2.2, or does it perhaps have something to do with the fact that I’m theme’d to Vistered Little 1.7.4?

    What’s the appropriate technique to find out where this is failing?

    Never heard of wp-table. A link would help.

    Have you checked the webserver’s error logs?

    Does it say it’s written for wp 2.2?

    Have you checked the author’s site to see if someone has asked for help in a comment and been provided an answer?

    Was there anything in an included docs that stated that you had to do something to set it up first?
