 * Hello,
 * I am using Yahoo! Small Business Hosting to host my blog. It worked well for
   a few months, then I started experiencing a variety of problems. First, the “
   Error Establishing Database Connection” message. Then, my posts disappeared from
   both my homepage and my dashboard several times. I am still not able to view
   my draft posts in my dashboard, though my published posts appear normally.
 * Do you have any advice for me? Are there ways I could go about fixing this myself?
   Yahoo’s customer service started out helpful but is no longer answering my emails.
   Has anyone else had issues with their hosting service?
 * Thank you.

 * It seems like the customer service representatives have been testing it, but
   still no difference on the back end.

 * Just wanted to see if you might be hacked, doesn’t look like it.
    Otherwise there’s
   not much to go on. The ussual routine is to deactivate all plugins to see if
   one is responcible. Then activate another theme for the same.
 * if it’s wp itself, you can delete and re-upload new default copies of all wp
   files _except wp-content_.
 * if it’s your theme, you can upload a new copy as well.

 * I’ve actually tried starting up an entirely new blog in a different directory
   to see if that changed anything, but the exact same thing happened.

 * Sounds like a server issue, which I know little about. you may be at the mercy
   of your host:(

 * I see. Do you have any advice on what to tell them? I’ve tried explaining what’s
   been going on in my dashboard, but they seem to be having trouble fixing it.
 * Thanks for the help.
