Trouble with sending emails using SMTP

    Hello. I am trying to use SMTP to allow my forms (plugin is QuForm) to send submissions to our emails.

    They stopped sending in March for some reason. I am testing my SMTP gmail using the plugin WP-Mail-SMTP to test the emails and I am getting the below error:

    string(82) “SMTP connect() failed.

    Can anyone help with this? I am not very familiar with SMTP and I cannot figure it out.
