Trouble with Images in Posts

    I am having some trouble with images in posts. On the pages that the post texts are being chopped off and adding […] to the bottom of the post text the images are having trouble displaying. (the image is the first thing in the posts text) The really odd part is that it does not work in Internet Explorer at all and sometimes works in Firefox. I’ve checked this on multiple machines so I know it doesn’t have something to do with my computer.

    When I do a view source in IE this is what comes up, <img src=\”http://www.domain.com/images/picture.jpg\” align=\”left\” alt=\”picture information\”>. Has anybody else come across this and know a fix for it?

    Since the image is displaying on the posts single page entry, then my gut tells me it has something to do with the function to get the first 200 letters (not sure what this number actually is) and add the […].

    Did you try changing admin – “Settings” – “Reading”
    to show full text instead of summary to see what happens?
    And let me guess — you’re on a windows server?
