Alright, this is confusing me big time. I thought something like this should be easy, apparently it's not:
Is there a way to redirect every RSS-Feed Link to a new URL, i.e. the Feedburner URL?
I installed the WP Greet Box and it displays the RSS-Link on every box, as can be seen on my wordpress 2.8 http://www.thumoney.com/how-to-get-a-great-quality-score-on-google-adwords/ for instance.
I'm using Feedburner for my RSS feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/thumoney
There must be a way to change the standard RSS-URL to the one of feedburner, so that everytime WordPress echoed the URL, it shows the Feedburner URL?
I searched and found this, nothing worked, always it displays the standard RSS-URL again (no, I dont want to hardcode the Feedburner-URL it into the HTML-Code):
- http://perishablepress.com/press/2008/03/25/redirect-wordpress-feeds-to-feedburner-via-htaccess-redux/ (didn't work)
- http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedburner-plugin/ ( = http://flagrantdisregard.com/feedburner/ ) (Plugin did not work)
- http://www.chipstips.com/?p=158 (did not work)
Is it that difficult, I really cant imagine this, must be a common problem, right?
Has anybody a solution for redirecting the feed URL globally to Feedburner?
