Trouble updating to 3.4.2 Blank admin page & Fatal error on website

  • I was using 3.4.1 and tried updating to 3.4.2 by clicking on the update button. It took me to a blank page. After waiting several minutes with no activity, I clicked on my back button. This gave me a fatal error message when I tried to view my website (www.maryhamerphotography.com).

The message on my website is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_multisite() in /home/mhp/public_html/wp-includes/default-constants.php on line 20

So I did a lot of searching on the forums and decided to restart the internet and clearing my casche. The message still remains on my website and now my admin page is BLANK. I can’t even login to reinstall. I am at a loss.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
