Hiya,
That’s a peculiar message to receive, you mention switching to a theme, did you switch from a default theme (one of the ones named Twenty [something]) to the Impreza one?
It’s very possible it does something weird to require plugins it depends on, which would have been disabled as well while you were troubleshooting.
The good news is, this shouldn’t affect your primary website for those visiting it (I say shouldn’t, because there may be situations where it does which we’ve not known about and therefore couldn’t prepare for), and the screen to install required plugins is only showing up for you and will go away once you leave troubleshooting mode. (I checked this by visiting the website in your profile, I don’t know if that’s the site you are having issues with, but it looked OK for me as a visitor at least)
As I understand it, you’re not able to leave troubleshooting mode right now because of the warning from the theme, that’s OK, it should automatically disable it self if you close all your browser windows, or restart your computer.
HI Marius,
thanks for your answer, but I did leave the troubleshooting mode and the bad thing is that the design of the website does not look oK not only to me but as well to outside visitors. I have restarted my computer as well and the deisgn of the website is still broke
If you look at
https://snackconnection-marktplatz.de/snack-welt/
you see the headline twice. I even did instaled the back up form the day before I installed the Healthcheck plug in, but the design is still broke.
Anything I can do now?
Regards
Jeannette
I reinstalled a backup and now everything is allright. But I would not use this plug in again.
Hiya,
Sorry about the delay, I saw you sorted it shortly after posting, so I must admit I addressed more pressing matters at at that point.
As you mentioned, you restored a backup from before the plugin was used, so it sounds like something else might b at hand (I won’t discard taht the plugin might have had an unexpected effect though).
if possible, would you be able to provide some details on your site setup, plugins in use etc? (Visiting the Tools > Site Health
page and going to the Info
tab will give you a button to copy-paste this easily into the forums)
