Trouble Setting up Notifications with Minerva KB

I am attempting to use the Notification plugin with MinervaKB which is a knowledge base plug in. I am running the latest version and have configured the Notification plugin to allow for the MinervaKB articles… https://www.screencast.com/t/etRR4aTRdsJP

I created a notification for New Articles and for Updating articles and attempted to both update an article and post a new article. https://www.screencast.com/t/EI5mmVvk

Is this plugin dependent on some other setup? Do I need to have other wordpress settings set first to get the notifications to send?
