    Hi,
I have been using CreativeMail it has been working fine for directing customer order emails however over the last 1-2 days i am getting an error message on Creative Mail that pops up each time stating:

‘ we are having trouble setting up the connection with your WordPress site. maybe a firewall or security plugin is preventing CreativeMail from interacting with your site. Please try again and if problem persists contact support. HTTP response code 403 Forbidden’

i was really hoping for some guidance or help on why this maybe be happening please and how to resolve this.

    Kind Regards

The error message you just mentioned should also an error or tracking id. Could you share that with us, that will help us to trouble shoot the issue.

    Hi @naveedrehmanabsh

Did you recently install any new plugins or change settings on your WP site?

Hi, Previously i contacted Creative Mail i was receiving a long error code that on there being no connection of Creative Mail with my WordPress site and there may be firewall or security issue (as shared above)
I have made sure with my hosting provider that this is looked at and they have resolved a email deliverability issue of SPF and that is now fully valid from our end however now I continue to recieve another error message on the dashboard when i open Creative Mail that says ‘ an error has occurred, try again’. Please can you take a look into this as we have resolved anything that may have not been working from our end and i believe this error needs to be looked at by Creative Mail, would really appreciate if you can look into it.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @naveedrehmanabsh

While looking through our logs we can see the following error:

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

This usually indicates a firewall or other plugin preventing us from accessing your WordPress Site REST API.

Could you maybe post a list of all the plugins that you have installed?

Hi I have previously contacted Creative Mail a few times on receiving error message that my site is having trouble connected and may be a plugin or security firewall problem. This error message disappeared for a couple of days (as i messaged above in thread) and instead was replaced with a smaller error message stating ‘ an error has occurred try again’ at which point i contacted Creative Mail again, Now once again the bigger error message is back up when i access creative Mail from my site and would really need this to be resolved as i am also paying for the creative Mail package and still receiving errors without any resolution. please can you prioritise looking into this as i have contacted a number of times and still seem to be going though the same issues, also the support live chat from Creative Mail does not seem to be working either.

I can send you the list of plugins aswell is there a way to private message?

    Many Thanks

So just to explain in addition to that the error message of ‘ we are having trouble setting up the connection with your WordPress site. maybe a firewall or security plugin is preventing CreativeMail from interacting with your site. Please try again and if problem persists contact support. HTTP response code 403 Forbidden’ is back again

Sorry to hear that you are still experiencing this issue.
I’ve checked our logs again and can still see the same error message, as was posted above in this thread.

You can send an email to support at creativemail.com with the list of plugins.
    Please mention this thread.
