Trouble Sending CF7 & Sendgrid

    I have a wordpress installation on a School Website that uses both Gravity Forms and Contact Form 7 plugins to send forms. The Gravity Forms seem to work OK, however the Contact Form 7 ones fail when the Sendgrid plugin is activated. I have used Mandrill before with no issues and wondered if anyone else had come across an issue with SendGrid & CF7 or if you could shed some light on it.

    The error is Failed to send message. The messages arrive in Flamingo OK but do not send. Any ideas

    Hey, I have the same problem here. Sendgrid blocks emails sent by Contact Form 7 for some reason. Emails sent by WP and other plugins (EDD, MyMail) are delivered without any problems. Did you find the way to make it work?

    I dumped Sendgrid and used SparkPost instead.

    I actually dumped CF7 as well but that was later.

    I found the way to fix it. Apparently, Contact Form 7 or Sendgrid refuses to work properly if FROM and TO fields have email addresses from the same domain. I’ve changed the email address provided to the TO field to my email address on another domain and it worked out.

    I guess it might be useful for those who will stumble across this topic looking for a solution.
