Trouble Removing Title in CSS

  • Hello! I am afraid that I don’t understand CSS but I’ve been trying to use the plugin to make a thumbnail gallery page for categories on my blog. I want the thumbnail as a link but no text or title anywhere.

    Searching the forums I placed this at the very top of my style.css:

    .lcp_title{display: none;}
    .post-content ul.lcp_title{display: none;}
    .post-content ul.lcp_title li{display: none;}

    And in my editor for the page this:

    [catlist name=”dyeing” numberposts=60 thumbnail=yes thumbnail_class=”alignleft” title_tag=span title_class=lcp_title]

    What I am getting is this wonky business:

    dyeing

    If you’re in the know, I’d love to know how to fix my situation. Perhaps I’ve got my code for style.css in the wrong place? Or a typo somewhere? Thanks so much in advance for any help I’ve spent the last 3 hours to no avail!
