• Hi all.

I’m experiencing an extremely frustrating problem at the moment caused by this plugin.

I’ve developed a website with a store on a testing platform with a domain similar to testing.domain.com. The website development is complete and I have been attempting to migrate the website to the actual domain similar to newdomain.com. I have the WP eCommerce premium shipping plugin and email templates plugins installed. I have done countless wordpress migrations (but none with WP eCommerce installed) and have done the following steps:

Updated all instances of testingsite.domain.com to newdomain.com in the database using Dreamweavers ‘find and replace option’

    Copied over ‘wp-content’ folder.

Copied old database to new I’m phpMyadmin

After this, website worked but shop and wordpress admin was broken. Admin started working after WP eCommerce plugin was deleted. Tried reinstalling plugin, no go. Errors I received we’re ‘fatal error: WP_Scripts’ or ‘fatal error: allocated memory size’ etc.

Then I noticed that the WP eCommerce plugin was referring to the old cPanel address at /home/domain/public_html/etc. Using Dreamweaver I found and replaced all instances with /home/newdomain/public_html/. Still no go… Plugin was still crashing the back end.

Then I deleted the plugin again, deleted all wpsc instances in the database, deleted as many lines in wp_options in the database that we’re being used by the plugin and Reinstalling the plugin STILL crashed my website.

So I’m 100% sure that this plugin is crashing my website. I have found NO documentation on how to migrate a wp eCommerce install and NO official documentation on how to uninstall wp eCommerce completely and start from scratch.

Somebody please help me before I am FORCED to use something else.
