trouble integrating forms within theme

  • Hi,

I have working code that includes a form and submit button but I’m having difficulty integrating these .php files with my theme. How do I get such files to appear as a webpage within the wordpress theme?

When I call the php form or actually copy all the code
in the HTML tab of the wordpress page, I keep being redirected to the index.php page after pressing submit but this doesn’t happen when I don’t have the form inside the theme and just let it function within its original style.

Is there css within the .php file that I have to change? If so, I don’t know where to go for the right theme code to integrate it.

    Thank you.

I’m not sure how you would do that with existing php.
You could set these as a page and then insert an iframe in your WordPress page that calls the form.

A much easier solution is to use a plugin like Contact form 7 or gravity forms. It makes making forms much easier.
