# Trouble installing wpSearchMu plugin

 * Hi im trying to install the wpSearchMu plugin however I cant seem to get it to
   appear in my settings option to “build search index”.
    Ive created an mu-plugins
   directory because I didnt have one before and ive copied the wp-search-mu folder
   in to here setting the folders permission to 777. When accessing the dashboard
   in wordpress there is no wpSearchMu option in the settings and when I click on
   plugins it doesnt list it as being installed. Any help would be appreciated

 * Anything in the mu-plugins has to be *files*, not within a folder. You’ll know
   it’s done right when you look in the plugins menu and it has a “Must-use” tab.
 * Pretty sure the install instructions say place the files in there, not the folder
   with the files.
