trouble installing subversion, HELP?

    ok, I went into my SHELL account and typed

    yum -y install subversion

    it installed subversion, so then I typed

    svn co http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress/trunk/

    inside the directory my blog is installed in

    “/home/tcoburn/public_html/blog”

    and it displayed a whole bunch of useless stuff,

    so then I ran

    svn update

    and it says

    svn: ‘.’ is not a working copy

    now what? I am confused.

    now what?
