[resolved] Trouble getting padding around my text. (6 posts)

Trying to change a page in a template. I want the image to go to the edge of the box as it currently is. But, I need padding around the text so it isn't going to the edges. I tried adding the padding to id="content3". It worked but it also added padding around my image which I don't want. When I add cellpadding to the table it doesn't work even though it shows correcting in the Edit Page box.

Thanks for any help you can give.

NOTE: the 3 <div>s are in the page.php which I use for 4 different pages. The rest of the code is added when Editing the individual pages.

You need to wrap the table in a div and apply a new css rule to set the margin left and right. Right now you have the table just floating in the space and the <p> tags are taking on the standard p rules from Body.

Even better - don't use table markup for positioning/layout. Use CSS instead.

Inkdipt I'll give that a try. Esmi...I'm sure you're right, I'm just not sure how to do that. Big ideas, little experience. lol
