  • I continuously get errors when I try and generate an access token. I have completed the application on LinkedIn and input the correct information in WordPress plugin and am able to ‘allow access’ page but then I get errors messages on WP admin.

    Also, where do you find the company ID?

    Error 1: The client is not authorized
    Error 2: Did not receive an access token.

    Have I done something wrong with my application on LinkedIn?

    Any ideas?

    Hi hawortde,

    You can find the company id under the “Shortcode Info” meta box. After you authenticate, the “Find Your Company ID :” select field will fill with all companies you are an admin of. In the next update I’ll have it auto fill your default company ID, seems to be alot of trouble coming from that.

    Error 1: This comes from the linkedin app. Every time I’ve seen this error it has been connected to the “Redirect URL”

    Error 2: This comes from the plugin, which occurs when the request for the access code is successful, but the access token isn’t set for some reason.

    Thank you for the response and information.

    I have the plugin working now. I just deleted the app on my clients LinkedIn and created a new one and that seemed to have worked. I see where the company ID is now.

    Everything is great.
