  • When I paste this:

    <?php get_links(category, ‘before’, ‘after’,’between’, show_images, ‘order’, show_description,show_rating, limit, show_updated, echo); ?>

    <?php get_links_list(‘name’); ?>

    into the text area on a new page (Admincenter=>write=>new page), and save it, the <? and ?> are turned into <!– and –> respectively, making the whole thing into a comment.

    How do I make it stop doing that so that my blogroll displays? Or, is there some other way of doing this?

  • By the way, we just installed WordPress this morning, so it’s the brand new version, 2.0.4.

    It’s been a few days and other peoples’ questions have been answered, but not mine. Perhaps I’m not being clear?

    I want to put my blogroll on a separate page that I created for it, and when I try to put the code there, the system changes it into a comment (see above), and won’t display the blogroll.

    I’d really like to get this fixed so that I can make my new blog public. Any help would be appreciated.

    Although you can put Template Tags and PHP code into a Page Template, you cannot put these into the content of a Page and expect them to run.

    I figured that first part out on my own when it didn’t work. I couldn’t tell you how many times I must have read the page you reference, but it didn’t click until now. LOL Doh. 😀

    Thank you!

    Welcome ;’)
