• Plugin triggers fatal error after WordPress update. I remember it had issues like this in the past. Liked it a lot, but that’s a good beye for me.

Sad thing is.. all pictures are now also “unavailble” and I must restore all of them after forcefully deactivating the plugin by renaming it’s folder. I think many people will not know they are stored in the plugins folder and remove the plugin and loose access to their pictures also as a result of that.

    Hi @rudybrinkman,

I am sorry to hear of the issues. Could you please let me know if deleting then installing new NextGen Gallery 3.54 helps?

NextGen Gallery stores the gallery images to “wp-content/gallery” folder by default which isn’t the plugin’s folder and therefore, there are no problems deleting NextGen Gallery folder without actually affecting the galleries. It should be actually impossible to set the gallery folder to point to a “wp-content/plugins” location.

Sorry, that’s a no-go, client opted for deleting NextGen and installing JetPack.
