Support » Plugin: BadgeOS » Triggering badge display on Learndash lesson completion

  • Resolved robnz

I installed with the learndash add on.
I created a badge and said only award when the user has completed a lesson.
But it is not then obvious how to give that award.
I tried to add it to the lesson page but then the badge always showed up even when the user had not completed the lesson and it looked like it had been awarded already. I need to hide it until the user has completed the lesson.

    Hi @robnz,

To award badges on completing a lesson, follow the steps:

    1. Go to Dashboard -> BadgeOS -> Badges (Badge Type)
    2. Create a New Badge
    3. On required steps, Select Learndash Activity -> Completed Lesson -> Specific Lesson or Any lesson (If you want to award on completing each lessons). See screenshot
    4. Save Required steps and publish the badge
    5. Now, that badge will be awarded to the user automatically when they complete the lessons
