    Hi,
    I’m writing you regarding an issue about the email that should be sent whenever a review is posted (or a user is registered).
    It doesn’t work anymore.
    Whenever a review is posted, the system doesn’t send the request so the email isn’t sent (so I don’t even have a significant log file).
    We have tried using a plugin, WP-Mail-SMTP, to overwrite the problems that could have been, but it still desn’t work.
    Strange thing is: when we approve the message in the backend, the email is triggered!
    But is useless to have an email since you are the eprsone who have confirmed it.

    What can we do or check?

    That plugin is a good start but while it allows you to set up SMTP manually, I’d suggest instead using a plugin associated with a dedicated SMTP service. Try one of these: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/#section-7

    That page also recommends this mail logger to help you diagnose what’s happening (that may be the one you’re already referring to), which will show you whether the emails are sent and not received or not sent.
