tried to update my gallery and it wiped

    Hello,

    I tried to update the gallery and it said error updating gallery. when i refreshed the page, the gallery bit was gone and no longer in the plugins menu. i tried to install it again and it gave the error message -Destination folder already exists.
    Plugin install failed.

    But there’s still no gallery in the sidebar and also no gallery in the plugins menu. Please help asap as my boss is really mad at me. Thanks in anticipation of a speedy response.

    Hi,

    It is highly likely that your updating failed and some files were not downloaded. We advise you to delete the existing directory wp-content/plugins/gallery-plugin via ftp and then re-install the plugin.
    In order to look through your site’s files please use ftp or cpanel. Then go to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the folder gallery-plugin.
