Thank you so much for helping – very frustrated.

I cannot get any image into my post section. It always shows up in code! Yahoo my host said that I have WordPress 2.6.3 version and that I cannot upgrade otherwise everything will be “broken”.

How am I supposed to sove this problem. I’m a newbie to boot!

Thank you for your help. Hopefully ASAP!
    Claudia

Can you provide a link to a page/post that shows this happening?

How are you adding these images to your posts?

“browser uploader” then uploading from “my pictures” the image appears in the first box yes, it is the right size and as soon as I click on upload to “post” that’s when I see all the code not the photo!!! Been at this all day tying over and over again,

    THanks for helping me, Claudia

You have no published pages, categories or articles on that site.

This is just a guess, but perhaps you are using the html editor and not actually hitting the “preview” button (available in 2.6.3?) to review it, or you are not selecting a category, or actually publishing your page/post when you are done, which may be leaving things in “draft” status.

OOOOOOOOOH! BIG LIGHT BULB!!! I did not know that I had to preview OR publish BEFORE I would actually see the image!!!! I thought I would SEE it when I uploaded to the post initially. Gosh. It’s awful to be a newbie. But as you can see – here is the “previewed” AND “PUBLISHED image! http://site.yourlovedog.com/blog/?p=35&preview=true

http://site.yourlovedog.com/blog/ Clayton! Thank you sooooo much.

I will sleep tonight. As I’ve said earlier I have been “at this” ALL day. Again, thank you so much, now I can write, and image away!!!

You probably will if you use the wysiwyg editor, but not in html mode.

Excellent pic… well worth waiting for!

    🙂

    Best wishes.
